The International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism continues to grow, with new chapters and members joining from around the world. As our community expands, so does the opportunity to share the work, ideas, and traditions that shape our built environments.
We are looking for a volunteer to occasionally help with basic video editing for our social media channels and YouTube platform.
Volunteer – Video Content Editor (Social Media & YouTube)
Remote · Unpaid · ~2 hours/week on an occasional basis
This is a light-touch, flexible voluntary role — not an internship or part-time position. We expect a time commitment of around 2 hours per week, and only on an occasional basis rather than consistently every week. The editing involved is fairly minimal: basic trimming and assembling of footage rather than advanced or time-intensive production work. All footage and core content will be provided by INTBAU staff.
Key tasks
- Basic trimming and assembly of short videos for Instagram and LinkedIn
- Light editing of longer-form content for YouTube (talks, interviews, lectures)
- Following INTBAU visual identity guidelines (guidance provided)
Skills and profile
- Basic video editing skills (beginner to intermediate level welcome)
- Some familiarity with tools such as Canva or Premiere Pro
- An interest in traditional building, architecture, urbanism, heritage, or the built environment
What we offer
• Opportunity to contribute to an international organisation working across architecture, urbanism, and building crafts.
• Exposure to a global network of practitioners, academics, and institutions.
• Portfolio material published on official channels.
• Recommendation letter upon successful completion of the volunteer period.
Additional information
This is a voluntary, unpaid role designed to fit around study or other commitments. Volunteers do not hold employee status. A volunteer agreement will be shared to outline expectations and ensure a positive experience for both parties. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and may be based anywhere in the world.
