INTBAU World Congress 2025: Exhibition of INTBAU Chapters and Professional Members

Explore the exhibition showcasing work from every region of INTBAU’s network.

    Event Information

Throughout the Congress, Chelsea Old Town Hall became a gallery of INTBAU’s global work. Along the corridors and across the main hall, delegates walked through an exhibition showcasing projects by INTBAU Chapters and by members of the INTBAU College of Traditional Practitioners and Young Practitioners. Set on easels beneath the historic building’s plasterwork and chandeliers, the displays offered a vivid panorama of traditional architecture today: master planning and craftwork, post-disaster reconstruction, vernacular housing, conservation projects, and community-led initiatives from every region of INTBAU’s network.

The exhibition highlighted the practitioners whose work gives technical and professional substance to the field. ICTP and Young Practitioner members represent the highest standards of traditional building and design, demonstrating how continuity, craftsmanship, and innovation come together in practice. Alongside them, INTBAU Chapters showcased programmes anchored in their own local contexts — a reminder that the network’s strength lies in its international structure and the diversity of the projects initiated around the world.
