The Pro-Urb listserv is a closed discussion list hosted at the University of Georgia and is owned and managed by Lucy Rowland (lrowland@uga.edu). Subscriptions are by invitation or application.

The Pro-Urb list was founded to advance the practice of New Urbanism. Its primary purpose is to provide a forum where professionals and others who are well-grounded in the principles of New Urbanism can discuss issues.

Pro-Urb is an advanced level seminar which requires solid understanding of New Urbanism. Seminar participants may present papers and news items, but most of the discourse is informal discussion and critique around the virtual seminar table. The list serves as a forum for high-level discussion topics selected by its members and as a resource for professionals seeking expertise and input.
