International Network for Traditional Building Arts & Urbanism is the working name of a research project based at The Prince's Foundation in London.  We are researching the feasibility of setting up an international umbrella association to promote both traditional ("new") urbanism and the traditional building arts. The INTBAU Research Project runs until September 2001 when we hope to launch the INTBAU Network

The aim of the INTBAU Research Project is to create an active network of individuals and institutions interested in offering a human alternative in architecture and the built environment and creating new and harmonious places which respect local traditions.

INTBAU's purpose will be to serve as an umbrella association for individuals and organisations interested in traditional building, design and urbanism.  We welcome submissions from both individuals and organisations interested in contributing to the research project or to the future network.
