INTBAU Scandinavia is based in Oslo, Norway. It was set up in 2005 by Audun Engh, Arne Sødal, and Claus Zapffe and others, who with INTABU Board member Petter Olsen have long been supporters of INTBAU activities in Romania and elsewhere.
With help from INTBAU Central Office, the Scandinavia group initiated the Fredrikstad Workshop 2002 and , and with the help of INTBAU Romania, the Transylvania Ecotourism Workshop 2005,
Bran Protected Area Workshop 2005, Traditional Masonry Summer School 2006, and Bran Urban Charrette 2006.
INTBAU Scandinavia aims to bring together practitioners, academics, community leaders and general supporters in order to promote the values of traditional architecture and design and try to find together solutions for the major challenges concerning the built environment in Scandinavia.
We welcome enquiries from individuals and organizations interested in contributing to the network. Please use INTBAU's online form where you can also join as a free General Member of INTBAU. You can also contact us at the address below.
