The Nabha Foundation
The Nabha Foundation is an integrated rural development trust focused on Nabha in the Punjab region. Its mission is to create a space that encourages and integrates the spirit of entrepreneurship and management within the fabric of the community through education and enterprise incubation.
Due to Nabha's strong agricultural base, the Foundation is primarily a localized programmatic organization for integrated rural development in Nabha, Punjab. On a broader view, the Nabha Foundation is leading a process change in mainstreaming Heritage in the developmental process in Punjab, as part of the Foundation’s strategic vision for urban regeneration in this region.

INTACH, a wholly autonomous non-Governmental Organization was set up in 1984 for the conservation of our natural and man-made environment. It aims, with the active participation of its members, to create awareness among the public for the preservation of our heritage, by acting as a pressure group whenever any part of it is threatened by damage or destruction arising out of private acts or public policy.

UNESCO New Delhi Office, the Organization's first decentralized office in Asia was established in 1948. At its inception, it dealt with science and technology programmes. In time, it incorporated communication programmes, and still later expanded to include education and culture

UN-Habitat
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-HABITAT, is the United Nations agency for human settlements. It is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities with the goal of providing adequate shelter for all. The main documents outlining the mandate of the organization are the Vancouver Declaration on Human Settlements, Habitat Agenda, Istanbul Declaration on Human Settlements, the Declaration on Cities and Other Human Settlements in the New Millennium, and Resolution 56/206
