Aura Woodward General Manager

Aura manages INTBAU's central office in London and oversees its networks and chapters worldwide. She develops and implements policy and strategy, organises programmes and events, maintains www.intbau.org and manages INTBAU's 3,000-strong membership.

Since arriving in 2004 as Director of Communications, Aura has helped expand and develop INTBAU, organising traditional restoration skills training programmes and urban charrettes designed to protect heritage and provide a guidebook for sustainable local development.

Previously Aura was a broadcast journalist, covering issues including heritage and regeneration for the BBC World Service. Aura has a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and a Diploma from the BBC School of Journalism. She was born in Transylvania and speaks English, Romanian and some French.
