In 2004, INTBAU and the the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) began research for a Pattern Book to describe the vernacular architecture of the Transylvanian Saxons.   TUD have now finished their part of the work and the project is being completed by INTBAU staff and volunteers.

The Pattern Book is intended to be both a record of what was built and as a guide to those renovating, extending or building anew in the Saxon villages.   Further information will be added to this page when it is available.
